Job summary

HRnet One Pte Ltd is assisting a Malaysia-based technology/industrial group with a one-year HR Manager/Senior Manager contract to support integration and restructuring.

The role focuses on guiding HR during the transition, ensuring policy alignment, government liaison, and effective communications across merging entities in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience managing workforce restructuring or organisational transition exercises.
• Strong working knowledge of Malaysian employment law and ministry/government liaison processes.
• Experience supporting M&A integration, restructuring, or organisational change is highly advantageous.
• Confident communicator, able to guide an HR team through sensitive processes.

M&A Integration & Organisational Restructuring

Our client is a technology/industrial solutions group, currently undergoing a business integration following a corporate acquisition. They are looking for an experienced HR Manager/Senior Manager to join on a 1-year contract to support this transition.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the integration of two combined business operations in Malaysia
• Supporting the relocation of the team to a new shared premise
• Managing employee communications and rollout of a new organisational structure
• Working closely with the current COO and incoming business leadership to evaluate the existing organisation
• Ensuring compliance with relevant government bodies as part of the organisational restructuring process
• Reviewing and aligning HR policies across the two merging entities

What we're looking for:

• Proven hands‑on experience managing workforce restructuring or organisational transition exercises
• Strong working knowledge of Malaysian employment law and ministry/government liaison processes
• Experience supporting M&A integration, restructuring, or organisational change is highly advantageous
• Exposure to industrial, technology or engineering sector environments a plus
• Confident communicator, comfortable guiding an existing HR team through a sensitive process
• Able to commit to a 1-year contract, with possibility of extension based on fit and business needs
