Job summary

Henkel in Malaysia is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to deliver efficient, compliant HR services across the organization. You will partner with HRBPs, Payroll, and HR Systems to improve processes and support employee lifecycle activities.

The role requires 5+ years in HR operations, strong knowledge of Malaysian regulations, and experience with SAP/Workday. Hybrid work with global and local stakeholder collaboration is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of HR Operations experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia employment law, payroll, benefits, and statutory rules.
• Experience supporting end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with process automation/AI HR tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and executes HR activities to ensure effective day-to-day HR operations.
• Supports managers and employees; ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
• Develops/updates HR policies and reports for regulatory agencies.
• Communicates policies and organizes HR events and onboarding activities.
• Liaises with external vendors for employment passes, health insurance, and EAP.
• Analyzes HR data and leads regional HR projects and KPIs.
