Job summary

Rakanda is seeking an HR professional to support day-to-day HR operations in Semenyih, Malaysia. You will handle payroll processing, attendance, leave, HR documentation, and statutory reporting while collaborating with employees and the HR team.

The role requires a degree or diploma in HR/Business Administration, 1+ year of experience (fresh graduates welcome), and proficiency in English, Malay and Chinese. Strong organizational skills and team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in HR/Business Administration or equivalent with relevant experience
• At least 1 year of experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good spoken and written English, Malay and Chinese
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multitask
• Statistical and analytical skills
• Willing to learn and be a team player

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly payroll processing by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
• Ensure submission of statutory contributions on time
• Check and process monthly employee claims and medical reimbursements
• Prepare yearly statutory reports and surveys (Borang E, EA Form)
• Prepare HR staff movement letters (confirmation, transfer, increment, promotion)
• Maintain Leave administration in the system
• Monitor staff attendance
• Maintain and update employee personnel files and filing system
• Provide HR administrative support and manage records
• Assist with performance management and employee development programs
• Support employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives
• Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned
