Job summary

SIM YANG HOK INDUSTRIES SDN BHD in Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to manage employees' records, assist payroll, and handle HR inquiries. The role involves maintaining documentation and supporting day-to-day HR operations on-site.

You will also assist with statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), foreign worker administration, and conduct initial orientation for new hires under the Head of HR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain employees' personal files, employment contracts and other HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, overtime, leave, medical leave and other HR-related matters.
• Assist in monthly payroll preparation and ensure employee information and attendance records are accurate.
• Assist with statutory submissions and payments, such as EPF (KWSP), SOCSO/PERKESO, EIS and PCB.
• Handle employees' HR enquiries and provide assistance on company policies, leave, attendance and other HR matters.
• Assist with foreign worker administration, including relevant documentation, permits and renewals where required.
• Conduct initial orientation training to newly hired employees.
• Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by the Head.
