Job summary

MALAYSIA STEEL WORKS (KL) BHD is seeking an HR professional to manage work permit renewals for foreign workers and expatriates, ensuring timely submissions and immigration compliance. You will coordinate staff housing, transport, and welfare, and handle accommodation certificates with local authorities.

You will oversee full HR functions including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, performance, and engagement, while monitoring attendance and processing payroll using HR2000.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HR2000 experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; 2+ years in HR role.
• Willing to work in Bukit Raja, Klang.

Responsibilities

• Manage foreign workers’ and expatriates’ work permit and employment pass renewals, ensuring timely submission and compliance with immigration requirements.
• Coordinate workers’ accommodation, daily transportation, and welfare, including applications for accommodation certificates with relevant local authorities.
• Oversee daily HR operations and manage full HR functions, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Monitor attendance and time management systems, process payroll using HR2000, and submit HR reports on time.
• Liaise with Immigration, Labour Department (JTK), and local councils to ensure HR and statutory compliance.
• Advise management on employment laws and policies while ensuring workplace safety and health compliance.
• Provide support to expatriates on employment and welfare matters, report issues to superiors, and perform other duties as assigned.
