Job summary

MINISO (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Human Resources and Administration Manager to drive HR strategies across Malaysia and Singapore. You will lead workforce planning, oversee recruitment and development, and ensure compliance with employment laws while delivering data-driven insights to management.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HR, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, and a track record in multi-market environments, preferably in retail or FMCG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in HR operations, recruitment, employee relations and compliance.
• Multi-market experience Malaysia and Singapore preferred.
• Retail/FMCG or fast-paced industry experience is an advantage.

Job description

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the Company’s business objectives and growth plans.

Monitor business operations and workforce needs across Malaysia and Singapore, providing HR solutions to support business growth and organizational efficiency.

Lead workforce planning, manpower optimization and organizational development across both markets.

Oversee recruitment, talent management, succession planning and employee development.

Manage performance management, compensation, benefits and employee relations matters.

Develop and maintain HR policies and practices, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws in Malaysia and Singapore.

Monitor headcount, HR costs and key HR metrics, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to management.

Lead and develop the HR team while partnering with management and business functions to ensure effective HR execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Strong experience in HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR compliance.

Experience in multi-market operations, preferably Malaysia and Singapore, is highly preferred.

Experience in retail, FMCG or other fast-paced industries is an advantage.

Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into practical HR solutions.

Strong leadership, communication, analytical and decision-making skills.

Good knowledge of employment laws, compensation and benefits, and HR best practices.
