We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on HR Manager to manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for talent acquisition, HR operations, employee relations, performance management, policies and compliance, while partnering closely with management and department heads on manpower and organisational needs.
This role requires someone who is proactive, organised, commercially aware and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning
Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting, sourcing and screening to interviews, offers and onboarding.
Partner with management and department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
Manage recruitment platforms, agencies and other sourcing channels.
Monitor recruitment progress and maintain an updated hiring pipeline.
Review and maintain job descriptions to ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
HR Operations
Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, probation, confirmation, promotion, transfer, salary adjustment, resignation and offboarding.
Prepare and maintain employment letters, contracts and other HR documentation.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Monitor attendance, leave, employee benefits and other HR administrative matters.
Coordinate monthly payroll information and statutory requirements with the relevant internal parties.
Employee Relations
Handle employee queries, grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
Support management in handling performance and conduct‑related matters.
Manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), warning letters and other employee relations documentation where required.
Promote effective communication and positive working relationships across the organisation.
Performance Management
Coordinate probation and employee performance reviews.
Follow up with department heads on performance assessments and confirmation deadlines.
Support management in setting performance expectations and addressing performance gaps.
Assist in developing and improving the company’s performance management framework.
Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and employee guidelines.
Ensure HR practices comply with applicable Malaysian employment legislation and statutory requirements.
Keep abreast of changes in employment regulations and recommend necessary updates to management.
Ensure HR documentation and processes are properly maintained for internal and external compliance purposes.
HR Reporting & Management Support
Prepare regular HR reports covering manpower, recruitment, turnover, attendance and other key HR matters.
Provide practical HR advice and recommendations to management.
Support organisational restructuring, manpower planning and other HR initiatives.
Undertake ad‑hoc HR projects and assignments as required by management.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience managing the full spectrum of HR functions.
Good knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and HR practices.
Strong experience in recruitment and employee relations.
Experience handling performance management and disciplinary matters is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Able to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
Able to work independently, take ownership and manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving business environment.
