Job summary

TEKMARK SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks an HR leader who can make things happen—not just manage paperwork. We are looking for a hands-on HR & Administration Manager to lead operations, partner with management to strengthen our people, organisation and workplace.

You will drive talent acquisition, retention, performance management and employee engagement; provide sound advice on employment matters and HR policies; and strengthen processes, systems and governance to boost efficiency and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 10 years HR experience, with at least 5 years leading a department.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and labour laws; ASEAN knowledge a plus.
• Able to work independently with senior management and business leaders.
• Strategic thinker who is hands-on and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication, influencing, problem-solving and stakeholder management.
• Mature, proactive, independent and results-oriented; servant leadership mindset.

We are seeking a hands‑on and commercially minded HR & Administration Manager to lead our HR operations while partnering with management to strengthen our people, organisation and workplace.

What You’ll Do

Lead the HR & Administration function, ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day operations.

Partner with management and business leaders on workforce planning, organisation development and people strategies.

Drive talent acquisition, retention, performance management and employee engagement.

Provide sound advice on employee relations, HR policies, compensation and employment matters.

Strengthen HR processes, policies and systems to improve efficiency, governance and employee experience.

Use HR data and insights to identify people issues and recommend practical business solutions.

Lead HR improvement projects and initiatives that support the company’s growth.

What We’re Looking For

Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years of solid experience in leading and managing a department.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and labour laws. Knowledge in ASEAN countries would be an added advantage.

Proven ability to work confidently and independently with senior management and business leaders.

A strategic thinker who is also hands‑on and willing to get into the details when needed.

Strong communication, influencing, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Mature, proactive, independent and results‑oriented.

Strong service‑oriented and servant leadership mindset, with a willingness to support and serve others. PA or executive support experience is an added advantage.
