Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all HR functions across the company. You will lead recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, compliance, and provide strategic HR advisory to the leadership team.
The role requires 5-7 years of HR leadership, strong knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act, and hands-on experience in full-spectrum HR, including disciplinary matters and JTK cases.
Manage all HR functions and operations across the company, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and strategic HR advisory to leadership.

Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures according to company needs and employment laws.
Handle end-to-end recruitment and manpower planning, including hiring and onboarding.
Handle employee relations and disciplinary matters, including misconduct, show cause letters, warnings, performance issues and termination.
Handle employee complaints, grievances and labour-related matters, including JTK cases.
Manage attendance, leave, overtime, payroll coordination, claims and other employee matters.
Manage probation, confirmation, appraisal, performance management and employee development.
Maintain employment contracts, HR documents and employee records.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
Advise the Director and Management on HR matters and employee-related issues.
Identify HR risks and recommend suitable solutions to improve HR practices and employee management.
Handle confidential employee and company information professionally.
Prepare HR reports and updates for the Director/Management.
Lead and manage the HR team, where applicable.
Perform other HR-related duties and projects assigned by the Director.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of HR experience, preferably with experience as an HR Manager or in a HR leadership role.
Strong hands‑on experience in full-spectrum HR, especially employee relations and disciplinary matters.
Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, labour practices and statutory requirements.
Experience handling JTK cases, employee complaints, disciplinary issues and employment-related disputes is an advantage.
Good understanding of recruitment, payroll coordination, performance management, employee relations and HR administration.
Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and make decisions in an SME environment.
Comfortable working directly with Directors/Management and providing HR advice.
High level of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.
Able to manage multiple HR matters in a fast-paced environment.
