Job summary

HSP Power Systems Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an HR Executive based in Butterworth, Penang to manage payroll, training, and general HR duties. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure accurate payroll processing, timely reporting, and compliant statutory contributions.

The role covers Training Needs Analysis, HRD Corp matters, and employee engagement initiatives, with a supportive environment and clear career growth opportunities within a well-established team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HRM, business administration or related field.
• 2–3 years of HR experience including payroll processing.
• Mandarin and English fluency for stakeholder communication.
• Proficient in payroll software and MS Word/Excel.
• Knowledge of Malaysian payroll practices and statutory requirements.
• Experience coordinating training and HRD Corp matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll and accuracy of salaries, allowances, overtime, and claims.
• Maintain payroll records for new joiners, resignations, salary changes, unpaid leave.
• Handle statutory contributions: EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD.
• Prepare payroll reports and liaise with Finance for approvals.
• Support employees with payroll queries.
• Coordinate training needs analysis and training calendar.
• Administer HRD Corp training grants and claims.
• Drive employee engagement and internal communications.
• Provide general HR support and drive process improvements.
