Alfagomma Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor, is seeking an HR Executive to oversee end-to-end processes for hiring, renewing, and terminating foreign workers in full compliance with Malaysian laws. You will manage visa, permits, documentation, and hostels while coordinating with government authorities and internal teams.
The role requires 3–5 years of HR experience with foreign worker management, strong knowledge of Employment Act Malaysia, and proficiency in HRIS/HRMS and Excel.
Oversee end-to-end process for hiring, renewing, and terminating foreign workers (foreign worker permits, passes, and related documentation).
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations from Immigration, MITI, JTK, FOMEMA and other relevant agencies.
Manage quota submissions, levy payments, and approvals for foreign workers; monitor expiry dates and initiate renewal actions.
Coordinate visa/permit applications, approvals, renewals, and re-entry requirements; liaise with government authorities as needed.
Maintain accurate records in HRIS and employee files for all foreign workers; prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Handle foreign worker onboarding and exit processes in accordance with policy and legal requirements.
Stay current with Malaysian labor laws, immigration rules, and foreign worker policy changes; communicate impact to HR and operations.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all foreign workers, including contracts, permits and medical checks.
Ensure document retention in line with company policy and legal requirements.
Oversee and manage hostel arrangements for foreign workers.
Ensure hostel operations comply with all applicable laws, guidelines, and company policies; maintain safe, clean, and compliant living environments.
Monitor hostel occupancy, health and safety standards, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
Ensure proper documentation and records for hostel residents, including housing contracts and rules regulation.
Stay compliant with the Hostel Act (and related regulations); manage registrations, inspections, and corrective actions as required.
Liaise with relevant authorities, auditors, and external vendors related to hostel compliance and operations.
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, with demonstrated exposure to foreign worker management and compliance in Malaysia.
Solid knowledge of Employment Act (Malaysia) and foreign worker regulatory framework; familiarity with Immigration, FOMEMA, MITI, JTK, SOCSO, EPF, and related processes.
Experience with HRIS/HRMS systems and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills preferred).
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills in English and Malay
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
