Sunningdale Tech Penang Sdn Bhd seeks an HR professional to support the HR Manager in executing strategic and operational HR functions, with emphasis on talent acquisition, learning and development, workforce administration, and compliance.
The role covers end-to-end recruitment, training coordination, foreign worker/expatriate administration, payroll reviews, statutory submissions, and HR reporting to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Support the HRA Manager in executing strategic and operational HR functions, with primary focus on talent acquisition, learning and development, workforce administration, and compliance. This role plays a key part in ensuring effective HR operations, employee engagement, foreign worker and expatriate management, while maintaining compliance with employment legislation, RBA requirements, and company policies.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and employee confirmation
Plan, coordinate, and administer learning and development initiatives, including internal and external training programs, training records, and HRD Corp claims and grants.
Partner with department heads on workforce planning and manpower requirements to support organizational growth and operational needs.
Manage end-to-end Foreign Worker and Expatriate employment processes, including quota applications, hiring approvals, work permit applications, renewals, and compliance with relevant immigration and regulatory requirements.
Serve as a key HR resource by providing guidance and support to HR Administration and Payroll personnel, ensuring effective execution of HR operations.
Review payroll reports, statutory submissions, and employee records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
Prepare monthly or yearly HR reports and ensure timely submission of statutory returns, including Form E and CP8D in accordance with regulatory requirements
Administer employee benefits programs, including group insurance, policy renewals, employee enrollment, claims coordination, SOCSO claims, and compensation-related matters.
Manage employee relations matters, including grievance handling, disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with Employment Act 1955, RBA Code of Conduct, statutory requirements, and company policies, including support for audits and compliance reporting.
Assist the HR Manager in overseeing overall HR and Administration operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting the achievement of organizational objectives.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience.
Experience in recruitment, training & development, and foreign worker/expatriate administration.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, HR systems, and HR reporting with strong analytical skills.
Good communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
