The Senior HR Executive will work closely with the Headquarters (HQ) and oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will implement policies, manage records, support performance management, and liaise with line managers to ensure timely processes and high standards of integrity.
The Senior HR Executive will work closely with the Headquarters (HQ) and is responsible for supporting and overseeing the day-to-day Human Resources operations. The role covers a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, compensation and benefits, employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, HR administration and statutory compliance.
Ensure HR policies and practices remain aligned with applicable legislation, company requirements and relevant market practices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure timely submission and maintenance of information required by statutory authorities, governing bodies and internal departments.
Identify HR process gaps, irregularities and areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate corrective actions to the HR Manager.
Assist in the preparation and review of the Employee Handbook and other HR-related documentation.
Work closely with HR Executive on the end-to-end recruitment process, including manpower requisition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
Work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and recruitment priorities.
Monitor recruitment progress and ensure vacancies are filled within timelines.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, misconduct, disciplinary issues and workplace concerns.
Assist in conducting investigations relating to employee misconduct, complaints and disciplinary matters.
Ensure disciplinary and industrial relations processes are handled fairly, consistently and in accordance with applicable statutory requirements and company policies.
Prepare relevant documentation, correspondence and reports relating to employee relations cases.
Provide advice and support to management on HR policies, procedures and employee-related matters.
Ensure monthly payroll is processed accurately and within the required timeline.
Check and verify payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, claims, unpaid leave, increments, bonuses and other remuneration-related matters.
Review, check and validate payroll reports before submission to HQ for approval.
Coordinate and administer the company's annual performance appraisal and review process.
Ensure performance reviews are conducted according to the established timeline and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
Minimum4–6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with exposure to payroll and HR operations.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience in supervising or guiding junior HR personnel is preferred.
