ARTANS CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking an HR & Administration professional to support daily HR activities, including employee management and payroll support, as well as foreign worker documentation for a construction environment.
The role handles recruitment, onboarding, and general office administration, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour requirements and smooth operations across office and project sites.
Responsible for supporting daily Human Resources and Administration activities, including employee management, foreign worker administration, recruitment, payroll support and general office administration.
Human Resources Management
Manage employee records, attendance, leave, claims, disciplinary matters and other HR documentation.
Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures and employee-related activities.
Handle employee enquiries and provide appropriate HR support.
Manage foreign worker documentation including passport, work permit, FOMEMA, medical and related records.
Coordinate with relevant authorities, agencies and service providers on foreign worker matters.
Monitor worker accommodation, welfare, movements and related administrative requirements.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate recruitment activities, interview arrangements and candidate communication.
Prepare employment documents and support onboarding and orientation activities.
Maintain updated manpower and recruitment records.
Payroll & Attendance Support
Assist with monthly payroll preparation, attendance verification, OT, leave and salary deductions.
Ensure attendance and payroll information is properly recorded and submitted on time.
Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve payroll or attendance issues.
Administration
Handle general office and site administrative matters, including documentation, filing, supplies and company facilities.
Prepare HR letters, memos, notices and reports when required.
Coordinate company activities, staff welfare and other administrative arrangements.
Compliance & Reporting
Maintain proper HR records and ensure documentation complies with company procedures and applicable requirements.
Assist with HR audits, inspections and submission of documents to relevant authorities.
Prepare regular HR and manpower reports for management.
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in HR and Administration.
Experience in foreign worker management and construction/industrial environment is an advantage.
Good knowledge of HR administration, attendance and payroll processes.
Familiar with Malaysian labour and employment requirements.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Willing to support both office and project/site operations
