Job summary

PAN & COMPANY | HEADHUNTER is sourcing an experienced HR Business Partner for a leading digital technology group in Malaysia. The role partners with business leaders to shape people strategies that drive performance, leadership capability, and growth across workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development.

Based in Malaysia, the successful candidate will navigate Malaysian employment law, collaborate with cross-functional HR teams, and help create a high-performing culture

Qualifications

• Approximately 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within an HR Business Partner or strategic HR Generalist capacity.
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior business stakeholders in fast-paced, matrixed organisations.
• Experience within technology, digital, consumer, internet, financial services, or other high-growth industries would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance business priorities with effective people solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with business priorities and organisational objectives.Provide trusted advice on employee relations, performance management, organisational design, talent development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
• Support organisational change initiatives and help leaders navigate business transformation and growth.
• Collaborate with specialist HR teams to deliver people programmes across the employee lifecycle.
• Interpret HR policies and Malaysian employment legislation while ensuring compliance and consistency.
• Analyse workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities that improve organisational performance and employee experience.
• Drive initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, employee engagement, organisational culture, and talent retention.
