Job summary

ACO Tech Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager to lead recruitment, training, OSH, and employee engagement initiatives. You will coordinate programs, partner with managers, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and 2–3 years HR experience. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Malay is essential for internal communication.

• Coordinate Training & Development including training needs analysis and programs.
• Maintain training records and ensure statutory training compliance (e.g., HRD Corp).
• Coordinate OSH programs per local requirements; organize safety briefings and audits.
• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and company events.

Job description

Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.

Partner with hiring managers to understand headcount needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.

Training & Development

Identify training needs across departments through TNA (training needs analysis).

Plan, coordinate, and evaluate training programs, both internal and external.

Maintain training records and ensure compliance with statutory training requirements (e.g., HRD Corp claimable courses).

Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

Coordinate OSH programs in line with local statutory requirements (e.g., OSHA /DOSH).

Organize safety briefings, risk assessments, and workplace inspections.

Maintain OSH documentation, incident reports, and compliance records, and act as key contact for audit

Employee Engagement & Events

Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, company events, and celebrations.

Manage event logistics, budgets, and vendor coordination.

Design and run employee feedback initiatives (e.g., surveys) and translate insights into action plans.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

2 to 3 years of relevant HR experience.

Proficient in English, Mandarin and Malay for internal stakeholder communication.

Proficient in Employment Law and OSHA. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
