GST MARINE PRODUCTS SDN. BHD. is seeking an HR Assistant to support daily HR administration and employee records, including contracts, letters and HR documents.
You will assist in payroll, attendance, leave and overtime management, and help coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in HR or related field and 1–3 years of HR experience. The HR Assistant supports daily HR administration and employee records management, including preparation and maintenance of employee personal files, contracts, letters and HR documents. The role involves assisting in payroll preparation, attendance, overtime, leave and medical leave records, as well as managing staff attendance and monitoring late-coming, absenteeism and overtime.

Prepare and maintain employee personal files, contracts, letters and HR documents
Assist in payroll preparation, attendance, overtime, leave and medical leave records
Manage staff attendance and monitor late-coming, absenteeism and overtime
Assist with recruitment activities including job advertisements, screening candidates and arranging interviews
Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, transfer letters, warning letters and other HR correspondence
Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation for new employees
Assist in handling employee enquiries and HR-related matters
Maintain accurate and confidential HR databases and records
Assist with statutory matters involving EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and HRD Corp
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
1-3 years of HR experience is preferred
Fresh graduates with strong interest in HR are encouraged to apply
Good knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and HR administration
Familiar with payroll, attendance, leave and overtime management
Knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and HRD Corp will be an advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to handle confidential information professionally
Good organisational and time-management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
