Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled HR & Administration professional to handle HR and administrative matters for Malaysia and Singapore operations. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, documentation, payroll processing, and statutory contributions while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HRM/Business Administration with 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in HR & Administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Handle HR and administrative matters for both Malaysia and Singapore operations.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee documentation.
  • Administer employee attendance, leave, claim, payroll processing, and statutory contributions.
  • Prepare employment-related documents, including employment contracts, confirmation, warning letters, show cause letters, and other HR correspondence.
  • Handle employee disciplinary matters and provide support in grievance handling in accordance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Coordinate employee training and maintain training records.
  • Maintain HR and administrative documentation to support ISO 22000 and other quality management system requirements.
  • Manage company administrative matters, including renewal of insurance policies, business registrations, company licenses, import and export permits, and other regulatory licenses.
  • Maintain proper filing of HR and administrative records while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with relevant government authorities, external service providers, and regulatory bodies when required.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
