Utopia Borneo Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Executive to manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and lifecycle activities. You will coordinate interviews, prepare offers, and maintain attendance data using AutoCount HRMS in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate holds a diploma or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 1–3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of Malaysian HR requirements. Construction or project-based exposure is a plus.
This is an HR Executive role responsible for managing recruitment and talent acquisition, employee onboarding and lifecycle management, payroll and attendance administration, statutory and HR compliance, training and development coordination, HR documentation and reporting, and general administrative support.
Key responsibilities
Manage recruitment activities from vacancy posting, candidate sourcing and screening through interview coordination and offer preparation
Post vacancies through JobStreet, MyFutureJobs and other suitable recruitment platforms
Screen and shortlist candidates based on job requirements, experience, skills and salary expectations
Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
Conduct or coordinate online interviews when required
Participate in career fairs and recruitment events
Prepare and issue offer letters and recruitment-related documentation
Coordinate employee onboarding and ensure completion of required documentation
Maintain employee attendance and payroll information using AutoCount HRMS
Assist in managing routine statutory matters relating to EPF/KWSP, PERKESO, EIS and LHDN
About you
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in HR, administration, recruitment or a related role
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with AutoCount HRMS or other HR/payroll systems is an advantage
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Malaysian HR and statutory requirements, including EPF/KWSP, PERKESO, EIS and LHDN
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail and accuracy
Able to handle confidential employee and payroll information professionally
Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work and meet deadlines
Experience in a construction or project-based environment will be an advantage
