Rafflesia Medical Center Sdn Bhd in Sabah seeks a proactive HR Administrator to support daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and records management. You will work closely with department heads to meet staffing needs and ensure compliance with local regulations.
The role requires 1–3 years of HR experience and a Diploma/Degree in HR, Business, or related field, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsible to supports the HR department in executing daily administrative and operational tasks across various HR functions. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, training coordination, payroll assistance, and employee welfare. You play a vital role in ensuring overall HR processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Work with department heads to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
Coordinate the full recruitment process including screening, interviews, and reference checks as well as Preparing offer letters, employment contracts, and job descriptions.
To implement onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
Coordinate smooth offboarding processes including exit interviews, clearance forms and final documentation.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (personal files, leave records, performance evaluations).
Track probation periods, contract renewals, and tenure milestones.
Address basic employee queries on HR policies, leave, medical benefits, and entitlements.
Prepare internal communications such as notices, memos, newsletters, or announcements.
Prepare and verify attendance, overtime, and leave data for payroll processing.
Assist in the preparation of salary revisions, bonuses, and incentives.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and medical industry regulations.
Help review and update employee handbooks and SOPs.
Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, absenteeism, disciplinary records, and recruitment effectiveness.
Provide insights for decision-making on workforce planning and improvements.
Organize and support staff engagement activities, team-building programs, festive events, and wellness campaigns.
SPM, STPM, Diploma/Degree in HR, Business, or related field
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
Familiar with Sabah Labour Ordinance, Employment Act and other statutory requirements
Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
Proactive and able to take initiative
