Job summary

DTL Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Brand Store Operations Executive (HQ-based) to coordinate daily HQ-store activities and optimize retail performance. You will monitor KPIs, support store managers, and drive in-store promotions and inventory accuracy across multiple brand stores from the HQ perspective.

The role requires strong Excel skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–3 years in retail operations, sales coordination, business operations, or a similar role; fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, and basic data analysis.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with store teams and HQ.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, responsible, able to manage multiple tasks.
• Problem-solving mindset to identify operational gaps and suggest practical solutions.
• Comfortable working with sales data, KPIs, reports, and performance tracking.
• Willing to travel to brand stores frequently.
• Experience in consumer electronics, mobile phones, lifestyle tech, or branded retail ops is a plus.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational matters between HQ and brand stores to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Track and analyze store sales performance, KPIs, target achievement, and other retail performance metrics.
• Provide operational support to store managers and retail teams, follow up on outstanding issues, and ensure timely execution of HQ instructions.
• Prepare regular sales reports, store performance dashboards, and operational updates for management review.
• Monitor stock availability, stock movement, replenishment, and inventory discrepancies in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Coordinate in-store promotions, product launches, sales campaigns, and other retail initiatives with Marketing and Sales teams.
• Ensure brand stores follow company policies, operational procedures, merchandising guidelines, and reporting requirements.
• Conduct or coordinate store visits and operational audits when required, identify gaps, and recommend improvement measures.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources and other departments to resolve operational issues and support business objectives.
• Maintain accurate retail operational records, documentation, schedules, and other reports as required by management.
