Job summary

Royal Selangor Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur seeks a diligent Housekeeping Attendant to maintain cleanliness of changing rooms, toilets, and public areas. You will be responsible for towels, locker keys, and safekeeping of member items, while ensuring daily upkeep across all clubhouse spaces.

Responsibilities include coordinating with maintenance and laundry services, assisting during functions, and keeping VIP rooms and club facilities tidy and presentable.

• Maintain cleanliness of toilets, urinals, shower cubicles and wash basins.
• Issue towels and locker keys to members and oversee safekeeping of items in lockers.
• Clean all surfaces including shelves, benches, mirrors, and furniture.
• Keep VIP rooms and clubhouse areas clean and well maintained.
• Coordinate with maintenance and laundry services to address faults and needs.
• Assist Housekeeping Supervisor during functions and events.

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep or the changing rooms, sauna and the rest room to ensure the maintenance of these in accordance with the Club’s standard

JOB DESCRIPTION

To ensure all toilets, urinals, shower cubicle and wash basins are well kept

To issue towels and locker keys to Members and oversee safekeeping of member item in lockers

To remove used towels from the bench after member use.

To wipe with a damp cloth all shelves benches, mirrors, windowpanes, couches table and chairs.

To keep clean all wooden benches and shelving.

To clean all lockers – daily lockers.

To wash the floor when necessary.

To order stock for monthly and weekly use.

To prepare checklist, stock list, for using daily stock.

To liaise with maintenance department on all faulty areas.

To liaise with Laundry Services

Lobby Area – All books/magazines are kept in order and the same in the Reading Room.

To sweep the floor in the Club, Club Entrance, Open Terrace Corridors and other probable areas daily, Club dustbins are washed and clean at all times.

To keep the flooring carpets windowpanes, trophies, honour boards, electric fan, tables, chair toilets and other area adjacent to the Club building in a clean condition. Clubhouse Toilets clean at all times.

To clean all VIP Rooms

To assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in decorations during functions and festive season.

To ensure the Clubhouse surrounding is always clean.

To carry out daily cleaning assignments at designated areas as per schedule

To carry out any other duty as assigned by the House Supervisor.
