Job summary

Plaza Premium Lounge in Sepang is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to maintain clean guestroom and public areas. You will report maintenance defects and respond professionally to guest requests, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include adhering to sanitation and safety procedures, safely handling doors and locks, and performing thorough cleaning of upholstery, drapery, and flooring.

• Adhere to ABC to Housekeeping & Quality Assurance Standards, when cleaning showers & toilets.
• Responsible to meet guest requests in a responsive & courteous manner and be of assistance to other associates.
• Genuinely care for guest well-being and take pride & ownership in the assigned job.
• Abides by the key handling procedures and ensures doors are secured when entering washrooms.
• Abides by lost and found procedures around the Public Areas.
• Adheres to chemical safety handling procedures & Hygiene & Sanitation.
• Safeguard hotel property and be cost conscious.
• Tour and inspect the area assigned and carry out immediate actions.
• Handover at end of shift or briefing on completed/outstanding tasks.
• Vacuum the room and public areas; undertake thorough cleaning of upholstery, drapery, and hard flooring using scrubbing machine.

To work as a team member to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the guestroom, bath room, in the public areas assigned to them. To report any maintenance defects. Handling request of the external and internal customer in a Professional & courteous manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. Adhere to ABC to Housekeeping & Quality Assurance Standards, when cleaning showers & toilets.
• 2. Responsible to meet the guest request in a responsive & courteous manner and be of assistance
• To other associates.
• 3. To genuinely care for the guest well-being and take pride & ownership in the assigned job.
• 4. Abides by the key handling procedures and ensures that all room doors are secured, follow procedure
• when entering the washrooms.
• 5. Abides by the lost and found procedures found around the Public Areas.
• 6. Adheres to the OSHA chemical safety handling procedures &Hygiene & Sanitation.
• 7. Safeguard and protect hotel property and be cost conscious.
• 8. To tour and inspect the area assigned and carry out work on areas that required immediate action
• 9. To handover at the end of the shift or at the next briefing, tasks completed and tasks still outstanding.
• 10. To vacuum the room and public areas
• 11. To handle the project / thorough cleaning of:
• the upholstery and the drapery
• the hard flooring using the scrubbing machine
