MXM SURFACES SDN BHD is seeking a proactive Dormitory Operations Coordinator to manage the daily operations of our workers hostel. You will supervise staff, oversee room allocations, orientation, and hostel records while coordinating with HR, Safety, and Maintenance.

Requirements include a Diploma in a relevant field or SPM with experience, 2–3 years in hostel or facilities roles, fluent Bahasa Malaysia and English, a valid Class D licence, and willingness to stay in the company hostel and work

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in HR, Business Administration, Management or related field is required.
• SPM holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.
• Valid Class D driving licence is must.
• Willing to reside in company-hostel and work weekends with 2 weekday offs.

Aufgaben

• Manage daily operation of workers hostel and ensure it is clean, safe and well-organised.
• Supervise hostel cleaning staff, assign daily tasks and monitor their work.
• Manage workers room allocation, check-in/check-out, orientation, hostel records and guest accommodation when required.
• Monitor electricity usage and prevent wastage in the hostel.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for repairs and ensure hostel facilities are functional.
• Enforce hostel rules and maintain discipline and cleanliness.
• Handle hostel issues including conflicts and emergencies calmly.
• Work with Safety and HR on inspections, audits and compliance.
• Assist with hostel supplies and urgent purchases.

We are looking for a responsible, firm and hands on person to manage the daily operations of our workers dormitory while supporting basic HR & Admin matters.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the workers hostel and ensure it is clean, safe and well-organised.
• Supervise hostel cleaning staff, assign daily tasks and monitor their work.
• Manage workers room allocation, check-in/check-out, new worker orientation, hostel records, and assist with guest accommodation when required.
• Monitor hostel electricity usage and ensure no unnecessary wastage.
• Check hostel facilities, report any issues, and follow up with the Maintenance team for repairs.
• Ensure workers follow hostel rules and maintain cleanliness and discipline.
• Handle hostel related issues such as conflicts, fighting, alcohol-related incidents and property damage.
• Handle night or weekend emergencies, including driving workers to clinics/hospitals and contacting the authorities when required.
• Work with the Safety Department on hygiene, dengue prevention, safety checks and fire drills.
• Assist HR in coordinating JTK inspections, audits and hostel compliance matters.
• Assist with hostel supplies and urgent purchases when required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. SPM holders with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to speak and write Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Mandarin/Chinese is an added advantage.
• Must have a valid Class D driving licence.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Must be willing to stay in the company hostel.
• Must be able to work weekends with 2 weekday off-days.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Responsible, firm and able to handle emergencies calmly.
• Sabah/Sarawak candidates are highly welcomed.

MXM SURFACES spent two years planning and programming , the first two production line for slabs, plus the high configuration polishing line have been installed properly. By the Italian polishing technology include Breton, Simec, Italdiamant, Abra iride & Tenax equipment and tools, MXM are able to provide stunning artificial quartz stone slabs to our customers all around the world.

Additionally , MXM SURFACES devote themselves to the ECO-ENVIROMENT contribution, we are using one of the cleanest and greenest water-recycle system from Fraccaroli & Balzan (Italy) , 400000 sqft solar panel electrical energy during manufacturing.

MXM SURFACES will start production in April 2022 by 2 production lines with annual capacity 400000 --500000 sqmt. The other 4 slab production lines plus 2 polishing lines will be installed and start-up in the following 4 years.
