Job summary

MD Stone Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Johor, invites an experienced Production Scheduler to plan weekly and monthly fabrication and production schedules aligned with drawings, sales orders, capacity, and material availability. The role requires close coordination with production, sales, and installation teams to ensure on‑time completion of orders.

You'll monitor progress, identify delays, and adjust plans while maintaining 5S standards and safety compliance across the workshop.

Job description

Production Scheduling : Responsible for preparing and maintaining weekly and monthly fabrication and production schedules based on drawings, sales orders, production capacity, material availability, and site installation timelines. Coordinate closely with production, sales, and installation teams to ensure proper workflow and timely completion of orders. Monitor production progress, identify potential delays or scheduling conflicts, and adjust plans accordingly to ensure fabrication and installation activities are completed on schedule.

Material Control : Coordinate with Store teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, including quartz, marble, granite slabs, and production consumables. Monitor material requirements based on production schedules and upcoming orders to prevent shortages or production delays.

Production Monitoring & Compliance : Monitor daily production activities and workers’ task assignments to ensure work is carried out according to production plans, company policies, safety regulations, and established SOPs. Coordinate with HOD and production teams to address operational issues, maintain work standards, and ensure safe and efficient production processes.

Cross-Department Coordination : Liaise closely with Sales, Production, Store, and Installation teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective coordination throughout the production process.

Quality, Equipment & Workplace Inspection : Conduct routine inspections to ensure product quality, proper handling and storage of stone materials, and the good operating condition of production equipment. Monitor workplace cleanliness, organization, and compliance with 5S practices to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive working environment. Identify and report quality, equipment, or workplace issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actionsuct routine inspections to ensure product quality, proper handling stone material, equipment maintenance, a clean and organized workplace (5S).

Operational Problem Solving & Corrective Action : Identify and resolve operational issues, customer complaints, production delays, and workflow disruptions in a timely and effective manner. Coordinate with relevant departments to determine root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions while minimizing disruption to production and project schedules. Follow up on corrective measures to prevent recurring issues and maintain smooth operations.

Our major produces are all kinds of Granite products used for Memorial Park, Monument statue Temple and big slab for Construction work.

At year 2009, our company become as MD STONE SDN. BHD.. Over years our company has built a favorable cooperation image and trust within Malaysia, Indonesia and other surrounding countries.
