Job summary

FUTURE FOOD SDN. BHD. is seeking an HR Assistant to manage and maintain company employee hostels across multiple sites in Malaysia. You will oversee occupancy, welfare, maintenance, discipline, and daily administrative tasks, with a focus on foreign workers and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 1–2 years in HR administration or hostel facilities, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel and Word. Occasional travel between hostels and factory locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Diploma in HR Management, Business Admin, or related field.
• 1–2 years HR admin, hostel/facilities management, or related role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic administrative systems.
• Willing to travel between hostels and factory locations.
• Independent, organized, and able to handle urgent hostel matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of company hostels and ensure safe accommodation for employees.
• Coordinate hostel check-in and check-out for new joiners, resignations, and transfers.
• Maintain records of hostel occupants, room allocations, bed assignments, and occupancy status.
• Ensure employees comply with hostel rules, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular hostel inspections for cleanliness, safety, and proper facility use.
• Coordinate repairs with contractors, landlords, and internal departments.
• Prepare monthly hostel occupancy reports and accommodation cost summaries.
• Assist in managing accommodation for foreign workers in compliance with Malaysian laws.
• Handle hostel disputes and disciplinary issues per company policies.
• Travel between hostels and factory locations as required.
