Job summary

RHB Group in Malaysia seeks a senior sales leader to plan, develop, and manage the regional sales office and operations, driving targets and budgets. You will lead and coach the sales team, monitor performance, and ensure efficient resource management to maximize profitability and KPI achievement.

You will stay aware of market competition and industry best practices, oversee credit approvals, and ensure timely credit processing while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, implements and manages sales office and operations to achieve the area target
• Manages, supervises and leads sub-ordinates to achieve overall business budget
• Motivates and enhances the performance of sales teams to maximise local market business opportunities
• Oversees resource management, including capacity planning, productivity, staff discipline and compliance
• Reviews weekly sales targets / activities and identify the need for coaching and direction to ensure targets are met
• Maintains awareness of competitors’ activities and industry best practices
• Ensures cross selling and deep selling (consumers to hold more than one product)
• Approves quality credits as per approving matrix
• Ensures daily operations of designated area are working within TAT
• Attends to LDC and operational issues tactfully and diligently
• Maximises sales office’s profitability and other KPIs set for the Division
• Holds regular meetings with designated area staff to cascade management’s directions, goals and guidelines, etc.
• Maintains good rapport with business associates to ensure service standards on turnaround time for credit application processing and approval are consistently met
