Job summary

Bell Ward Malaysia is seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function across a consumer-focused business. The role drives organisational effectiveness, manpower planning, and succession planning while overseeing payroll, compensation frameworks, and compliance for both local and non-resident staff.

You will spearhead end-to-end recruitment, employer branding, and staff development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and robust labour relations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HR leadership experience in workforce planning, talent management and OD within consumer industries.
• Comprehensive experience managing payroll, compensation frameworks, and non-resident worker compliance.
• Experience leading HR teams and aligning people initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Align HR strategies with business goals by driving organisational effectiveness, manpower planning, restructuring, and succession planning.
• Lead full-lifecycle recruitment and employer branding initiatives to attract, select, and retain top talent across all levels.
• Oversee payroll operations, statutory contributions, and compensation & benefits frameworks to maintain internal equity and compliance.
• Manage non-resident employees' recruitment, quota applications, documentation, compliance, and welfare initiatives.
• Design and monitor training strategies, development plans, and competency frameworks, plus training grant/levy utilisation.
• Formulate HR policies and ensure compliance with local labour laws while managing grievances and industrial relations.
• Lead annual budgeting, workforce cost projections, and labour cost optimization without compromising well-being.
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations, HRIS management, lifecycle administration, and facilities management.

• Lead full-lifecycle recruitment and employer branding initiatives to attract, select, and retain top talent efficiently across all levels.
• Oversee accurate payroll operations, statutory contributions, and competitive compensation and benefits frameworks to maintain internal equity and compliance.
• Manage non-resident employees' recruitment, quota applications, documentation, compliance, and welfare initiatives, particularly for initial intakes.
• Design and monitor training strategies, annual development plans, competency frameworks, and training grant/levy utilisation.
• Formulate HR policies and ensure strict compliance with local labour laws while effectively managing grievances, disciplinary matters, and industrial relations.
• Lead annual budgeting, workforce cost projections, and labour cost optimization without compromising employee well-being or operational effectiveness.
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations, HRIS management, employee lifecycle administration, and general office facilities management.

Requirements:

• 10+ Years HR Leadership experience in workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development within consumer industries.
• Comprehensive experience managing complex payroll, compensation frameworks, and non-resident worker compliance and quota management.
