Job summary

Trainovate Sdn Bhd is seeking a Logistics Planner to plan and coordinate daily truck movements for haulage operations in Ipoh. You will receive orders, allocate trucks and drivers, and ensure timely delivery while meeting regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include communicating with customers, coordinating with workshops for vehicle readiness, and maintaining safety and SOP compliance. The role requires 1–2 years in logistics planning and proficient MS Office usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in haulage, trucking, or logistics planning.
• Strong knowledge of trucking operations, routing and scheduling.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics/transport management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Arrange and assign drivers based on availability, route, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Communicate with customers to confirm job orders, delivery status, and any special requirements.

Coordinate with workshop/maintenance team to ensure vehicle readiness and minimize downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, transport regulations, and company SOPs.

Proactively resolve operational issues, delays, or driver shortages to minimize service disruptions.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports for management review.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or equivalent.

Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in haulage, trucking, or logistics planning (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).

Strong knowledge of trucking operations, routing, and scheduling.

Good communication skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage to liaise with China counterpart).

Proficient in MS Office and logistics/transport management systems.

Strong problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure and handle last‑minute changes.

Team player with high level of responsibility and attention to detail.
