Job summary

Geek+ seeks a Hardware Deployment Trainee to oversee on-site installation and commissioning of warehouse automation systems across Southeast Asia, working with project managers and senior engineers to ensure deployments meet schedule and quality standards.

You will support preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and customer training, building hands-on expertise to grow into hardware deployment and field service roles. Occasional travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good IT skills including knowledge of network infrastructure.
• Native Korean and proficiency in Chinese required.
• Frequent travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site supervisor, overseeing and conducting relevant site activities during project implementation.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to manage overall site performance.
• Prepare daily on-site logs and records for customer and internal team reviews.
• During the service phase, conduct preventive maintenance and perform root cause analysis of production issues using diagnostic tools.
• Prepare a training manual and provide training and support to customers and other external parties.

About the role

As a Hardware Deployment Trainee in SEA, you will work on-site across Southeast Asia to support the physical installation and commissioning of Geek+'s warehouse automation systems. Working closely with project managers and senior engineers, you will oversee site activities during project implementation, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure deployments are executed to schedule and quality standards. You will also support the service phase through preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and customer training — building the hands-on technical expertise to grow into a well-rounded hardware deployment and field service professional.

What you have to do

What you need to have

• Good IT skills, including knowledge of network infrastructure, is a plus
• Native in Korea, proficiency in Chinese is a must
• Frequent travel may be required
