Job summary

EUROFRESH SDN BHD is seeking a Halal Executive to manage and ensure Halal compliance across operations. You will coordinate certification activities, maintain Halal documentation, monitor compliance, and liaise with Halal authorities and certification bodies.

The role involves coordinating HAS, audits, supplier verification, internal inspections, and Halal training for staff, working closely with QA, Purchasing, Production, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Must have keen attention to detail and be responsible.
• Experience in Halal compliance or certification is a plus.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Halal Assurance System (HAS) and related documentation.
• Coordinate Halal certification applications, renewals, amendments, and audits.
• Ensure raw materials, ingredients, suppliers, production, storage, and products comply with Halal requirements.
• Verify and maintain records of Halal certificates and supporting documents from suppliers.
• Conduct regular internal Halal inspections and monitoring activities.
• Prepare the company for Halal audits and coordinate corrective actions when required.
• Monitor changes in Halal standards, regulations, and requirements.
• Conduct Halal awareness and training programs for employees.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, R&D and other departments on Halal compliance.
• Investigate Halal-related non-conformities or issues.
• Maintain accurate Halal records, reports, and documentation.
• Liaise with JAKIM/JAIN and relevant Halal certification authorities when required.
