Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Executive to ensure Halal compliance, product quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements are maintained across production operations. Fresh graduates may apply; attention to detail and teamwork are valued.
In this role you will lead Halal certification activities with authorities, manage GMP/HACCP programs, review specifications and COAs, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Malaysia-based position.

Responsible for ensuring Halal compliance, product quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements are consistently maintained throughout production operations.
Responsible for ensuring Halal compliance, product quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements are consistently maintained throughout production operations.
Prepare and submit documents for Halal certification, renewal, and new product registration.
Act as the liaison with relevant Halal authorities, including JAKIM/JAIN, for certification and compliance matters.
Ensure product formulations, raw materials, ingredients, and product labels comply with Halal requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Halal documentation and records.
Coordinate and respond to Halal audit findings, queries, and corrective actions from relevant authorities.
Liaise with relevant Halal authorities and certification bodies when required.
Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems, including GMP and HACCP, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform process inspections to ensure raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods comply with established food safety and quality standards before release.
Review and update quality policies, manuals, SOPs, and work instructions as required.
Prepare and maintain finished product specifications, COAs, MSDS, and other technical documents in accordance with applicable legislative requirements.
Conduct periodic internal quality audits and liaise with external auditors, certification bodies, and relevant government authorities.
Manage customer complaints and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) by identifying root causes, evaluating the nature of rejects, and recommending corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) within the required timeframe.
Monitor and ensure compliance with staff personal hygiene and food handling practices.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Manufacturing, Halal Management, Nutrition, Quality Management, or a related field.
Preferably 1–2 years of experience in Halal, QA/QC, food manufacturing, or F&B.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of Halal requirements, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality management systems.
Familiarity with JAKIM/JAIN Halal certification processes will be an advantage.
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with different departments.
