Job summary

MASHA GROUP SDN. BHD. is seeking a QA & Halal Executive to maintain Halal and QA systems, ensuring products, processes and records meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role covers documentation, training, audits and continuous improvement.

You will coordinate Halal certifications, monitor supplier and material compliance, and drive GMP and hygiene practices across production. The position emphasizes cross‑department collaboration and ongoing QA enhancements.

Qualifications

• Maintain QA and Halal compliance systems in line with internal standards.
• Prepare Halal certification documents and liaise with authorities.
• Ensure ingredients, suppliers and products meet Halal requirements.
• Develop and maintain QA records, SOPs, and quality reports.
• Coordinate internal and external QA and Halal audits.
• Follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Halal Assurance System and related documentation.
• Handle Halal certification applications, renewals, and documentation.
• Ensure materials, ingredients, suppliers and products comply with Halal requirements.
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation, SOPs, records and quality reports.
• Conduct routine quality checks and monitor compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including Halal and quality audits.
• Follow up on audit findings, non-conformities and CAPAs.
• Monitor incoming materials, production activities and finished products where applicable.
• Ensure proper implementation of GMP, hygiene, food/product safety and quality procedures.
• Conduct or coordinate Halal, hygiene and quality awareness training for employees.
• Liaise with authorities, certification bodies, suppliers and other departments on QA and Halal matters.
• Assist Management in improving the company's Quality and Halal Management System.
• Perform other QA, regulatory or Halal-related duties as assigned.
