Industri Makanan Jati in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a QA & Halal Compliance Specialist to lead quality control, oversee production areas, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
You will compile data for Halal, HACCP, MeSTI and GMP, conduct audits, train teams, and manage Halal certificates for raw materials and finished products.
A Diploma or higher in Food Technology and Halal Executive certification, along with at least 3 years' experience, are required.

Guide the production team about quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product.
Supervise the production areas in daily and ensure the team follow the SOP.
To prepare and update standard practices and procedures for use within the organization.
Responsible in the compilation of all data and reporting the performance of Halal, HACCP, MeSTI, GMP.
To conduct a premise and equipment hygiene and cleanliness inspection
To evaluate, inspect and resolve in-house quality issues. Organize and lead team discussions in quality improvement activities.
Responsible handling customer complaint : Investigating the root cause and implementing corrective actions based on customer complain.
Handling application and ensuring the seamless maintenance, renewal, and issuance of certificates for both new and existing products under the F&B scheme.
To Conduct Internal Audit (HACCP, Halal, MeSTI, GMP )
Monitoring production process - Checking CCP in production area and coordinate calibration tool either internal and external.
Provide training to the production team
Monitoring internal pest control and assist the technician pest control monthly.
Diploma/Degree or higher equivalent in Food Technology/Science/Halal Industry or other biology fields.
Have a certificate in Halal Executive
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related field.
Familiar with Halal certification requirements by Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).
Has attended Halal Executive training or Halal Awareness courses.
Well-versed in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.
Experience in documentation and audit processes will be an added advantage.
Capable of managing Halal and QA documentation effectively.
Experience in verifying Halal certificates for raw materials and finished products.
