MAGMA HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team in cleaning guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards.

You will supervise staff, manage schedules, monitor quality inspections, and ensure linen, F&B linen, and uniforms are well stocked. The role requires 2–4 years in housekeeping with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, strong leadership and communication skills, and a hands-on approach.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; a hospitality certification is an advantage.
• 2-4 years in housekeeping, with at least 1 year supervising or leading a team.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and motivational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to clean and set up guest rooms and public areas.
• Prepare rosters, briefings, monitor activity, and conduct quality inspections.
• Manage linen and uniform inventories; ensure adequate stock.
• Maintain property, operate equipment safely, and follow SOPs to minimize costs.
• Update room status and handle chemical and supply usage; enforce room procedures.
• Know and enforce emergency procedures and staff safety compliance.
• Lead by example, motivate staff, and develop teams; address substandard work.
• Communicate professionally with guests, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Be flexible, reliable, punctual, and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Train staff, support customer service, and uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Follow company policies and SOPs, train when supervisors not present.
• Continuously develop expertise through training, participate in department revenue and cost strategies, align with hotel vision.
• Performance is evaluated on quality, communication, discipline, teamwork, grooming, customer relations, adaptability, dependability, attitude, planning, organizing, and problem-solving.
• Comply with OSH and laws, maintain health and safe workplace.
