Job summary

D Merveilleux Suites Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking Front Desk Officers to deliver outstanding guest service in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, handle inquiries, and assist with reservations and admin tasks.

The role requires strong communication, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work in a busy hotel setting. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, with Mandarin preferred for international guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a friendly, professional manner.
• Positive attitude, patience, and commitment to high standards of service.
• Good organisational and multitasking abilities; able to work in a busy shift environment.
• Proficiency in using hotel management software and common computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin speaking is highly preferred for international guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and hospitable manner.
• Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring a personalised and seamless experience.
• Handle guest enquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Maintain accurate guest records and manage the reservation/booking system with attention to detail.
• Provide administrative support to the hotel/property management team as required.
• Assist with telephone and email communications and ensure timely follow-up.
• Keep the front desk area clean, organised, and presentable at all times.
