Job summary

Taiko Drum Industries Sdn Bhd is expanding and seeks a Business Development Executive (Sales) to drive new business opportunities and maintain key customer relationships from its Ipoh base in Perak.

The role calls for 1–2 years of sales experience or fresh graduates, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, and applicants must be willing to travel within assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant sales experience preferred (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Must possess own transport and be willing to travel within the assigned areas.
• Position to be based in Ipoh, Perak.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, actively prospecting for potential customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiate terms with clients.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
• Monitor industry trends, gather competitor information, and report market insights.
• Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and follow-up promptly with clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth order fulfilment and after-sales service.
• Maintain proper records and prepare regular sales reports for management review.
• Undertake any other tasks as directed by Superior/Management as and when required.
