Job summary

Katrin BJ Sdn Bhd is seeking a Gourmet Food Sales Consultant who is passionate about food, cooking and customer service. You will introduce and sell our range of premium and gourmet food products to retail customers and business clients, building long-term relationships.

You will promote, assist with product selection, explain features and usage, and strive to achieve monthly sales targets while developing new retail and B2B leads and managing a customer database.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food sales, retail, FMCG, hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
• Passionate about food and cooking.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-oriented and able to work toward targets.
• Independent and team player with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a Gourmet Food Sales Consultant who is passionate about food, cooking and customer service. You will introduce and sell our range of premium and gourmet food products to retail customers and business clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking about food, meeting customers and building long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities

Promote and sell gourmet and premium food products

Assist customers with product selection and recommendations

Explain product features, ingredients and usage

Achieve monthly sales targets

Build and maintain a customer database

Generate new retail and B2B sales leads

Develop business opportunities with hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers and corporate customers

Follow up with customers and develop repeat sales

Conduct product tasting, food demonstrations and promotional activities

Work closely with the Company Chef on food demonstrations and product promotions

About you

SPM, Diploma or equivalent

Experience in food sales, retail, FMCG, hospitality or customer service is an advantage

Passionate about food and cooking

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Confident, friendly and comfortable approaching customers

Sales-oriented and willing to work with sales targets

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Basic computer skills

Basic salary + attractive commission/incentives
