Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH is seeking a proactive Accounts Payable specialist to manage day-to-day AP operations within a defined area. You will process invoices, handle PO-related queries, and ensure timely supplier payments, with ongoing involvement in month-end close and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accounting degree, 2+ years in AP (SSC/BPO), strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel); iScala is a plus. Location is Malaysia, Petaling Jaya.

Qualifications

• Preferable degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable in SSC/BPO.
• Practical knowledge of accounting processes and rules.
• Strong analytical skills including problem-solving and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process approved invoices according to procedures and standards.
• Resolve PO-related queries and reach out to local finance for unapproved invoices.
• Perform supplier payments per payment calendar.
• Resolve PtP-related queries from local finance or suppliers.
• Prepare periodical accounts reconciliations and monthly reports.
• Provide documentation for audits and assist with month-end closing.
• Ensure 100% data accuracy in all systems and suggest improvements.
