Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant in Malaysia to manage end-to-end invoice processing and month-end closing support. The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams and ensuring compliance with policies.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and strong communication skills in English and Mandarin. Proven experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Shared Services is preferred, along with attention to detail and an analytical mindset.

Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Shared Services is preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Familiarity with procurement to payment processes.

Responsibilities

• Process PO and Non-PO invoices accurately and timely.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Prepare and execute vendor payments ensuring compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Deliver training on AP policies and system usage.
