Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an NOC Engineer (L1/L2) to support a global follow-the-sun service. You will monitor enterprise IT infrastructure, investigate incidents, and provide application and IT service operations support across regions.

Ideal candidates have practical IT operations experience, strong knowledge of networks, Windows/Linux, cloud services, and monitoring tools. ITIL Foundation certification is required, with five years of relevant experience preferred

Qualifications

ITIL Foundation certification is required.
Five years of relevant NOC/IT operations experience preferred for advanced L2 responsibilities.
Good written and spoken English with attention to detail and sound judgment.
Exposure to incident, problem management, escalation procedures and service restoration.

Responsibilities

Assess alerts, prioritize incidents, perform diagnostic checks, and analyze technical evidence.
Identify root causes and determine when specialist support is required.
Investigate incidents beyond routine first-line support.
Follow procedures and maintain accurate incident records.
Prepare shift handovers and develop/ update runbooks and knowledge articles.
Identify recurring incidents, reduce alert noise, and improve monitoring or processes.
Collaborate with technical teams, service providers, and stakeholders across regions.
Work scheduled shifts supporting a global follow-the-sun service.
