Job summary

Ricoh Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. is seeking a NOC Specialist in Malaysia to ensure the availability, stability, and performance of enterprise IT infrastructure in a 24x7 NOC environment.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and manage incidents across networking, servers, storage, cloud, and applications. The role requires 8 years in SOC/NOC operations, ITIL Foundation Certification, and strong Azure/Windows/Linux and Cisco networking expertise.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is mandatory.
• Experience in cybersecurity incident response.
• 6+ years in Microsoft Azure operations and support.
• 6+ years in Windows/Linux Server administration.
• Strong networking knowledge with Cisco devices (Switches/Routers/WAPs/Meraki).

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The NOC Specialist is responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of enterprise IT infrastructure in a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. The role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, maintenance, and project implementation across networking, servers, storage, cloud, and applications.

Job Description

• Monitor, maintain, and support network, server, storage, and application environments.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex technical incidents.
• Provide timely incident response and break-fix support.
• Handle escalation requests from clients and management.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Configure and deploy network devices, servers, and infrastructure components.
• Support project implementation, system upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all technical changes and project activities are properly documented and comply with change management procedures.
• Adhere to customer policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Work independently or alongside helpdesk teams to drive incidents through to resolution.
• Participate in shift work, including overnight shifts, to support 24x7 operations.

Education

• Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in SOC/NOC operations.
• ITIL Foundation Certification (mandatory).
• Experience in cybersecurity incident response.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in:
• Microsoft Azure operations and support.
• Microsoft Windows and/or Linux Server administration.
• Strong networking knowledge, particularly Cisco technologies (Switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points, Meraki devices).
