Job summary

S PIERSON MACHINERY SDN. BHD. Logistics Department in Mantin, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Executive to coordinate daily shipments, prepare shipping documents, and ensure timely deliveries.

You will communicate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams to maintain smooth operations. The role requires 1–2 years of relevant logistics experience, a diploma or degree in logistics or related fields, and proficiency with Excel/Word/Outlook.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant logistics/shipping experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate local and overseas shipments according to confirmed delivery requirements.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, courier companies and logistics service providers regarding shipment schedules and arrangements.
• Prepare, check and maintain Delivery Orders, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, shipping labels and other relevant shipping documents.
• Monitor shipment status, ETD, ETA and delivery progress.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, delayed shipments and logistics discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality and Customer Service to ensure goods are ready for shipment.
• Verify product codes, quantities, packing details, shipping labels and customer-specific delivery requirements.
• Communicate shipment updates and delivery arrangements to customers, suppliers and logistics service providers.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, delivery records, logistics databases and document filing.
• Prepare logistics reports and monitor logistics costs and supporting documents when required.
• Report potential shipment delays, shortages, documentation errors and other operational issues to the supervisor.
• Support continuous improvement in shipment coordination, documentation accuracy, packing and delivery processes.
