Job summary

Logistics & Warehouse Assistant Manager role in Negeri Sembilan is to supervise daily warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound, storage, inventory control, and outbound distribution. You will coordinate import/export activities with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers.

The position requires end-to-end logistics knowledge, familiarity with WMS/ERP systems, and strong English and Mandarin communication with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, business or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiar with import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support daily warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound, storage, inventory control, and outbound distribution.
• Ensure smooth execution of import and export activities, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end logistics flow from suppliers to warehouse, and from warehouse to customers or intercompany locations.
• Ensure warehouse operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company standards.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and stock movement using WMS/ERP systems.
• Support continuous improvement in warehouse layout, processes, and logistics efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export procedures, and company policies.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, sales, and customer service teams.
• Lead, supervise, and support warehouse team operations, ensuring productivity and discipline.
• Assist in manpower planning, training, and performance management of warehouse staff.
• Support month-end stock count activities, including occasional weekend work when required.
