Premier Inn Hotels LLC (UAE) in Bandar Sri Damansara, Malaysia, seeks a Life Sciences Application Specialist to provide technical assistance and customer-focused support for complex laboratory workflows.

The role covers training, product demonstrations, and collaboration with Sales/Marketing, with a focus on quality, ISO standards, and continuous improvement. Travel and transport support are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science or related field.
• Experience with real-time PCR, NGS, Sanger sequencing, or microarray.
• Minimum three years of application support or training in life sciences.
• Solid understanding of contemporary research methodologies and lab protocols.
• Experience with emerging bioinformatics tools and troubleshooting sample-to-result issues is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Independent, responsible, and well-organised with multi-tasking ability.
• Willingness to travel and own transport; travel allowances provided.

Responsabilités

• Provide timely technical assistance and troubleshooting for Life Sciences product issues.
• Understand customer application needs, lab workflows, and practices; tailor support.
• Conduct product installations, trainings, and user support sessions.
• Assist Sales/Marketing with product demos, trade shows, and customer meetings.
• Ensure compliance with ISO QMS and company policies; support continuous improvement.
• Prepare weekly activity reports and maintain records of interactions and resolutions.
