Albert Wines & Spirits (M) SDN BHD is seeking an Import & Logistics Manager to oversee international shipments, import logistics, and customs compliance. The role interfaces with international principals, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and Malaysian authorities to ensure on-time, compliant delivery of goods.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with import procedures, K8/K9 documentation, duties and taxes, and logistics cost control, while coordinating with Procurement,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant international logistics experience.
• Experience with freight forwarders, shipping lines and international suppliers.
• Knowledge of Malaysian Customs procedures; K8/K9 documentation preferred.
• Good understanding of import duties, excise duties, taxes and regulations.
• Familiar with Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List and customs declarations.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate international shipments with principals and suppliers.
• Manage customs clearance and documentation.
• Monitor shipments from origin to Malaysia and update stakeholders.
• Review costs, invoices and charges; negotiate with logistics partners.
• Coordinate cross-department activities with Procurement, Warehouse and Finance.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian import regulations.
