Job summary

Lion Parcel is seeking an experienced logistics professional to oversee international shipment operations, cross-border logistics, and import clearance activities from our Malaysia base. You will ensure efficient shipment movements, accurate documentation and regulatory compliance while coordinating with overseas partners, airlines, and freight forwarders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in international logistics, import operations, freight forwarding, air cargo, or cross-border operations.
• Good understanding of international shipment processes, customs clearance, and import documentation.
• Experience coordinating with overseas agents, airlines, freight forwarders, or customs brokers.
• Familiarity with Air Waybills (AWB), shipping documentation, flight schedules, and shipment tracking systems.
• Knowledge of Malaysian customs regulations and import/export procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and operational management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily international logistics and import operations, including cross-border shipments, air freight movements, and import clearance processes.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth shipment operations.
• Monitor flight schedules, transit times, shipment status, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Oversee import documentation, Air Waybills (AWB), customs declarations, and clearance procedures.
• Identify and resolve shipment delays, customs holds, missing parcels, and operational discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian customs regulations, import procedures, and international shipping requirements.
• Monitor shipment volumes, operational costs, network performance, and clearance efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports, monitor KPIs, and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
• Support international network development and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners.
