Job summary

Maica Laminates Sdn Bhd is seeking an Export Sales Manager to steer international sales strategy, manage overseas client relationships, and ensure seamless export operations. The role requires travel to engage customers and identify growth opportunities.

You will develop strategies to reach targets, collaborate with production, logistics and marketing, and present forecasts to management. A hands-on leader with 5+ years in export sales, ideally in building materials, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or export sales.
• Experience in building materials / laminates is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with export regulations and documentation processes.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets in the export market.
• Respond promptly to export customer inquiries and follow up regularly with existing customers to secure repeat business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with export customers.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Prepare monthly sales reports, including performance analysis, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Track and report on sales performance to senior management.
• Lead efforts to enter new markets and expand the customer base.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and marketing teams.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to export sales team members.
• Negotiate pricing and discounts within approved limits.
