We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Export Sales Manager to join Melamine Marketing Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to lead and expand our international sales operations. As Export Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in overseas markets, managing key client relationships, and developing export strategies that align with our business objectives. This role is pivotal in establishing our presence in global markets and achieving our ambitious growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive export sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing market share
• Identify, prospect and establish relationships with potential international clients and distributors
• Negotiate and close export sales deals
• Manage a portfolio of key export accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction
• Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotations tailored to clients' requirements
• Coordinate with logistics, operations and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of export-related issues
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs
• Manage the Sales Support Team to support export operations and drive collective performance
• Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions and networking events

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of proven experience in export sales management or international sales roles within a manufacturing or trading environment
• Strong understanding of export procedures, documentation, regulations and compliance requirements (including incoterms and shipping logistics)
• Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities and develop successful sales strategies for new territories
• Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
• Willingness to travel internationally for client visits and business development opportunities
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Sales or a related field
