VISTRA seeks a Payments Operations Analyst to review and ensure accuracy and compliance of Payments and Treasury activities within Fund Administration. You will validate instructions, perform portal setups, and support client and bank relations to uphold SLAs.

• Able to work under pressure with high transaction volumes while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Proficient in identifying discrepancies and ensuring adherence to internal controls and approval matrices.
• Experience guiding sub-teams and providing clarifications to ensure consistent processes.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication for client and bank queries.
• Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams such as Accounting and Client Service.
• Proactive and accountable with ability to assess risks and propose improvements.
• Hands-on experience in payment review or bank portal operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (stated).

Responsibilities

• Review payment instructions and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance before approval.
• Perform payment setup and validation in client portals with proper approval routing.
• Guide sub-teams and resolve payment-related queries to maintain SLA quality.
• Coordinate with clients and banks on complex payments and bank account matters.
• Conduct payment screening and verifications to prevent fraud and discrepancies.
• Monitor client cash books and trackers, ensuring timely reconciliations.
• Handle client and bank queries professionally with SLA-aligned updates.
• Support audits by reviewing documents and maintaining audit-ready records.
• Identify gaps and work with leadership to strengthen internal controls.
• Undertake additional tasks to support team objectives.
